Course Description
Economics studies how we allocate resources, which are limited, to satisfy wants and needs, which are unlimited. In fact, the existence of limited resources and unlimited way of using those resources is called the economic problem.
Learning Outcomes
- Describe measures of economic performance, use these indicators to evaluate current economic conditions.
- Understand how markets function in a capitalistic society.
- Describe the major perspectives on what determines performance of the overall economy and analyze impacts on the economy.
- Understand the key approaches to macroeconomic policy. Analyze impacts of policy actions and Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different policies.
