Course Description
You will learn to explain derivation of medical terms; Recognize medical word roots, prefixes, and suffixes; Identify prefixes of position, color, numbers and measurement, negation, and direction; Formulate medical terms combining roots, prefixes, and suffixes; Interpret basic medical abbreviations and symbols; Utilize diagnostic, surgical, procedural terms, and abbreviations.
